At least two people were detained and 20 others were injured in clashes between supporters of candidates over bid to capture polling centres in Ramgati and Kamalnagar upazilas in Lakshmipur on Tuesday morning.The detainee’s identities could not be known immediately.At that time attack and counter attack were happened and some cocktails were blasted on the spot. The tense situation was prevailing in the area. Police said supporters of member candidates Montaz Uddin and Abdul Matin involved in a clash at Char Pagla Government Primary School polling station in Torabganj union of Komolnagar.The factions also hurled crude bombs during the clash, which left ten members of the both groups.In another clash between the activists of boat symbol and spectacles symbol, ten people were injured at Nomanbad Government Primary School centre in Char Poragachha union.
