A freedom fighter was slaughtered to death by unidentified miscreants at Garialpara in Kurigram town on Tuesday morning.Superintendent of police Tobarak Ullah confirmed the matter.He said a gang of miscreants came on a motorbike and in a sudden swoop started hacking Hossain Ali, 65, while he was having his morning walk near his house at about 7am.Later they ensured his death by slaughtering him, he said.Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Kurigram Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, he added.
