11 Deals, MoUs to be signed during PM’s Cambodia visit

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead a delegation to pay an official visit to Cambodia from Dec. 3 to 5.

A total of 11 deals and MoUs will be signed during the visit with an aim to expand trade, cooperation, tourism and investment between the two countries.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Thursday said this at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry.

Hasina will hold a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen at the Peace Palace before the two leaders witness the signing ceremony of a number of cooperative documents.

The two prime ministers will also hold a joint press announcement after their talks.

It will be the second time Hasina visits Cambodia after her first official trip to the country in January 2001.
