The High Court (HC) today ordered the authorities concerned to enlist 44 teachers of different educational institutions in MPO (monthly pay order).
The HC division bench comprising Justice Md. Ashfaqul Islam and Justice Ashish Ranjan Das passed the order upon disposing of a rule.
Advocate Mohammad Siddique Ullah moved for the petitioner while deputy attorney general Al Amin Sarker for the state.
“The teachers of different educational institutions have not yet been availed MPO despite fulfilling all the preconditions of getting those,” petition lawyers Advocate Mohammad Siddique Ullah told newsmen.
Fourteen teachers later filed a writ with the HC seeking it directives to provide them with MPO, he also said, adding that the HC on May 2 issued a rule upon completion of the hearing to this end.
