Former Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury is expected to take to Singapore for advanced treatment on Thursday.
An air ambulance carrying Mohiuddin will fly for Singapore around 4pm.
His elder son Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the capital’s Square Hospital.
On Sunday, Mohiuddin was taken to Dhaka from Chittagong by a helicopter and admitted to the hospital. He was hospitalised at Max Hospital of Chittagong when he was feeling uncomfortable early November 12.
He has been suffering from kidney and heart diseases for long.
