Sonali Bank Chairman Fazle Kabir, also a former finance secretary, has been appointed as the Bangladesh bank governor following the resignation of Atiur Rahman.Finance Miniter AMA Muhith at his office in the secretariat made the announcement at about 1:30pm on Tuesday.Earlier, Bangladesh Bank deputy governor Mohammad Abul Quasem was made the interim governor of the bank immediately after Atiur Rahman quit from his post over a heist of nearly 100 million dollar from the bank fund.
