An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Hotapara Outpost under Joydevpur Police Station in Gazipur district was killed and two other personnel among three were injured as a microbus carrying policemen hit a standing truck.The incident took place in front of Puspodam Restaurant at Bagherbazar on Dhaka-Mymensing highway of the district’s sadar upazila early on Saturday.The deceased was identified as ASI Harun-Or-Rashid. The injured are constable Manik, constable Jabbar and the driver of the microbus.Nazmul Islam, In-charge of Hotapara Police Outpost confirmed the matter.
