Former president Abdur Rahman Biswas died at a hospital in the capital Dhaka on Friday.He breathed his last at 8pm at the United Hospital, Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan, general secretary of Bangladesh Nation Awami Party (Nap), confirmed.
Abdur Rahman Biswas was born on September 1 in 1926 in the village of Shaistabad, Barisal District. He was the 11th President of Bangladesh during 1991 to 1996.
