A countrywide down-to-dusk hartal enforced by Jamaat-e-Islami protesting the Supreme Court verdict that upheld former Al-Badr leader Mir Quasem Ali’s death sentence began On Wednesday morning.The shutdown began at 6am and it will continue till 6pm. Vehicular movement was seen normal in the capital.A large number of law enforcers were kept deployed in various places of the city. No untoward incident took place till filing the report at 10:40am.
