Police recovered the bodies of a father and her daughter from a room on the rooftop of a rented house at Uttar Badda in the capital early Thursday.
The deceased are Jamil, 38 and her daughter Nusrat, 9.
In this connection, Kazi Wazed Ali, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station, told Jagonews24.com that, “After being informed about the matter from local people, police rushed to the spot.”
It is believed that they might have been strangled to death, he said.
