Law enforcers arrested four persons including a pilot of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on charge of plotting sabotage with aircraft.
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested them from Darrus Salam area of Mirpur in Dhaka on Monday night.
The pilot is identified as Sabbir Rahman, a first officer of Bangladesh Biman, confirmed Mufti Mahmud Khan, Legal and Media wing head of Rab headquarters.
“Sabbir is a member of the militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and an aide of deceased militant Abdullah,” he said.
