Police recovered the hanging body of Nakla Upazila chairman from his residence at Kursha in Sherpur district this morning.Police identified the deceased as Mahbub Ali Chowdhury alias Monir Chowdhury, 65.Officer-in-charge (OC) of Nakla Police Station Khan Abdul Halim said, informed by locals, police rushed to the spot around 8 am and found the body hanging by his neck from the ceiling fan of his house.Initially it was suspected that Chowdhury might have committed suicide, he said.Chowdhury used to live at the house with his second wife, the OC added.Source: BSS
