President M Abdul Hamid is set to visit his village home in Mithamain upazila and attend several programmes in Kishoreganj on Sunday afternoon.
"President Hamid will leave Dhaka for a four-day visit to his home district Kishoreganj from tomorrow," President's press secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin told BSS.
The helicopter, carrying the President, is scheduled to leave Dhaka at about 2 pm today.
President Hamid will hold a view-exchange-meeting with local political leaders, distinguished and respectable personalities, media persons at Abdul Hamid Auditorium of Mithamain upazila at 3.30 pm tomorrow, according to programme schedule.
On his four-day visit in Kishoreganj, he will also attend several programmes at Bajitpur College, Kotiadi Pilot Model High School, and Kishoreganj Circuit House of the district.
The President is expected to return Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon.
