It is the highest ever score for South Africa on their home soil against Bangladesh.
Four South Africa batsmen- Elgar (113), Markram (143), Amla (132), du Plesis (135) - smashed centuries in the first innings.
Bangladesh pacemen Subashis claimed three wickets while Rubel picked one.
In reply, two Bangladesh opening batsmen- Kayes and Soumya- started their first innings.
Kayes and Soumya were unbeaten at the crease with 4 and 9 respectively.
When the report was filed, the Tigers posted 13 for no loss in 5.3 overs.
