Jannatul Nayem Avril lost her Miss World Bangladesh crown after leaking her wedding news as she violated the participation rules.
Swapon Chowdhury, owner of the Antar Showbiz and also the organizer of this event, confirmed the matter to the reporters at a press conference in a city hotel on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the organizer also announced Jesia Islam, first runner up of the competition, as new Miss World Bangladesh.
She will represent Bangladesh in the upcoming Miss World 2017 beauty pageant, scheduled to be held in China in November.
