Jatiya Party Chairman and former President HM Ershad was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rangpur on Tuesday night after he fell sick.
Rangpur Metropolitan Jatiya Party General Secretary SM Yeasir on Wednesday confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
Ershad, who is currently visiting Rangpur, fell ill while attending a roadside rally for upcoming mayoral election around 8pm and later rushed to hospital.
