Ekush has taught us the lesson.The premier said this while addressing awards giving ceremony at Osmani Memorial Hall in city on Saturday.After presenting ‘Ekushey Padak’ to awardees, the premier said, we hope that the dignity of the country will further increase through the Ekushey Padak recipients. New generation of the country will get inspiration.However, sixteen eminent personalities have been honored with “Ekushey Padak” this year in recognition of their outstanding contribution to their respective fields.The prime minister said we can’t evaluate many people in the country who deserve honor from the state. Actually, this award is not satisfactory to evaluate their outstanding contribution. We want that the future generations to follow your footsteps on the way.Cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor chaired the award giving ceremony.
