Holders Nepal kept their SAFF U18 championship race alive as they beat Ten men Bangladesh by 2-1 goals in their must win match held on Monday at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Bangladesh was reduced to ten man as Biswanath Ghosh was shown double yellow cards in the 53rd minute, reports BSS.
In the day's match, Nepal took early lead through their striker Abhisek Rijal in the 22nd minute while Bangladesh fought back in the match to restored the parity as Al Amin scored the equalizer in the 30th minute.
Nepal sealed the victory scoring the second goal in the 80th minute of the match.
