Dhallywood actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol was admitted to the Labaid Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon after falling ill.
He is now at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital and will flown to Singapore for better treatment on Wednesday afternoon.
Bangla film director Montazur Rahman Akbar confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
Dipjol is also a supporter of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and was elected ward commissioner of Dhaka ward number 9 in 1994.
He was born on 15 June 1968 at Bagbari, Mirpur, Dhaka. He is married to Rumana Monowar.
