Three people were killed and four others injured when covered crushed them under its wheels at Gauripur Bazar of Daudkandi upazila in Comilla on Wednesday.Confirming the matter, Daudkandi highway police officer-in-charge Abdul Awal said the identity of the deceased could not be immediately.He said the accident took place when a covered van crashed on several pedestrians as its driver lost control at about 12:30pm.Later three people were killed on the spot and four others injured, he added.Three of the injured were taken to a local hospital while the other was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he further said.
