Doob, a film by prominent Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, is going to release in theaters on 27 October.
Abdul Aziz, the owner of Jazz Multimedia, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The film will be released in theaters commercially in Bangladesh along with India, Australia and Singapore at a time.
When contacted Filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki said the release date has been fixed by Jazz Multimedia. Prior to the release, a premier show will be held in Bangladesh. Irrfan Khan is expected to join the premier show.
The film has been produced by Abdul Aziz and Irrfan Khan under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Irrfan Khan Films.
Doob stars Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, Kolkata’s Parno Mittra, Bangladesh’s Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Rokeya Prachy.
Earlier, Filmmaker and actor Meher Afroz Shaon alleged that Doob depicted her late husband, famous writer Humayun Ahmed in an ‘objectionable’ way.
