Bangladesh wheelchair cricket team win T20 series

Bangladesh wheelchair cricket team won the three-match T20 series with 2-1 beating their rivals India by two wickets in the keenly contested series deciding third and final match held on Saturday at Dhaka University Gymnasium here.

Batting first India scored a challenging total of 223 for all in 19.2 overs courtesy of Shahid's blistering knock of 64 off 33 balls, BSS reported.

Uzzal was the most successful bowler as he grabbed five Indian wickets for 28 runs. He was well supported by Nahiyan who took three wickets for 24 runs.

Chasing a massive winning target of 224 runs, the local side put up a brilliant display to take Bangladesh at home making 228 for 8 in 20 overs.

Pratik grabbed four wickets for 33.

Uzzal of Bangladesh was named the player of the match and player of the series for his impressive bowling performance in the tournament.
