Train communication on Jamalpur-Sarishabari route resumed today after repairing the railway track damaged by the ongoing flood.Railway sources said the train service on the route came to a halt on August 16 as the track went under flood water in Kendua and Zafarshahi areas, damaging nearly two kilometers of the railway line.On the other hand, train communication on Jamalpur-Dewanganj route resumed on the night of August 22. The train service on the route was snapped on August 14 following the damage of track by the flood.Source: BSS
