Rail communications with the northern and southern districts of the country have been resumed on Monday afternoon, confirmed officials of Bangladesh Railway.All trains services to northern and south-western parts of the country were suspended on Sunday as a railway bridge was partly damaged in Kalihati upazila of Tangail due to the onrush of floodwater.A portion of the bridge was collapsed on Sunday as soon as Dhaka-bound Sundarban Express crossed the area, said the official.A task force of around 300 people, including two units of fire service, worked relentlessly since yesterday.
