A fire broke out in a shopping mall Anam Rangs Plaza at Dhanmondi in the city this afternoon.The fire took place in a room housed on the third floor of the five-storey shopping mall around 4 pm, assistant director Mamun Mahmud of Fire Service and Civil Defence said on Sunday.Fourteen firefighting engines rushed to the spot and are frantically trying to douse the flame, he also said.The cause behind the fire, damage and casualties could not be known immediately, he added.Source: BSS
