Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Executive Committee Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home last night from Singapore.
The speaker attended in different programmes there organised by CPA branch in Singapore from August 7 to 11, said an official release here today.
Dr Shirin Sharmin also held a meeting with Deputy Speaker of Singapore Parliament Lim Biow Chuan there, the release added.
The speaker left here for Singapore on August 6 at the invitation of CPA Branch in Singapore.
Senior officials of the JS received Dr Shirin Sharmin on her arrival at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city, it said.
