Vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO, has said the initiative for keeping the campus clean would play positive contribution to improve environment.
"The campus cleaning initiative members of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) would also create a positive trend in the society," Kalimullah said as the chief guest while inaugurating cleanliness programme in the campus on Friday afternoon.
The BRUR unit of BCL launched the clean campus campaign as a part of the month-long programmes in observance of the National Mourning Day-2017 and 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a press release.
Presided over by BRUR unit BCL President Abu Monnaf Al Kibria Tushar, its General Secretary Kamrul Hassan Nobel, among others, addressed the function participated by a large number of BCL activists and students of the university.
Highly lauding the initiatives of the students, Professor Kalimullah called upon the teachers, students, officials and employees of the university to make the cleanliness movement successful for making a clean campus and improving environment.
