West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is all set to wear Comilla Victorians’s jersey in the impending edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Comilla based franchise have already confirmed the matter.
It is understood that the maverick all-rounder will not feature for the Victorians from the beginning of the tournament. If his team can qualify in the play-off stage, then he might be worn Comilla Victorians jersey for the next matches.
The 33-year old Windies man took part in the previous year’s BPL for defending champion Dhaka Dynamites as his blistering bowling performance, amassing 21 wickets in 13 matches which made him highest wicket taker in the tournament, Dhaka lifted the title of this domestic mega event for the second time.
Apart from Bravo’s inclusion, the franchise also picked the likes of Pakistani trio Shoaib Malik, Fahim Ashraf, Imran Khan Jr, Angelo Mathews of Sri Lanka, Kiwis all-rounder Colin Munro and Afghanistan cricket superstars Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan.
Besides, Bangladesh dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has already been included in the side as an icon player. He was the highest run scorer in the past edition of BPL for his hometown franchise Chittagong Vikings where he scored 476 runs.
From this edition, Tigers ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will took part for Rangpur Riders, and will lead the side.
The fifth edition of the Bangladesh premier League (BPL) is expected to start in early November.
