The most of the members of civil society who took part in a dialogue with the Election Commission (EC) are in favour of deploying military personnel during the next general elections, said the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda.He came up with the remark at a press conference held following the dialogue at the election commission office in Dhaka’s Agargaon on Monday afternoon.“A discussion was held on deployment of army during elections and most of them opined in favour of deploying military personnel to conduct fair and free elections,” CEC Nurul Huda said.
