At least three people were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Ghoga Battola area under Sherpur upazila of the district early Monday.
The deceased are: Moslem Uddin, 35, son of Abdur Rashid of Rangpur, Mohammad Ali, 38, son of Hosen Ali of Comilla and one unidentified man (30).
The injured men were sent to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex and Bogra Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
In this connection Ataur Rahman, Sub Inspector of Sherpur Police Station, told Jagonews24.com that, the accident occurred in the area around 6am when the Rangpur-bound bus collided head-on with a truck from opposite direction leaving three dead on the spot and fifteen others injured.
