The High Court on Sunday cleared the way for Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan to act in three films of the production house Shapla Media.
The court stayed a portion of a notice issued by Bangladesh Cholochitro Poribar requesting all relevant film organsations not to cast Shakib Khan in any film.
The HC bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice AKM Zahirul Hoque came up with the order and rules after holding hearing on the writ petition filed by Shapla Media.
Shakib Khan signed three films - Ami Neta Hobo, Mamla Hamla Jhamela and Kotha Diye Keo Kotha Rakhe Na - with Shapla media.
On July 18, Bangladesh Cholochitro Poribar issued the notice on the allegation that Shakib Khan has undermined film star Faruk and other leaders.
