BNP leader and its chairperson’s advisor Joynal Abdin Farooque was released on bail in eight separate cases.
He was freed from Central Jail in Keraniganj at 12.40pm on Thursday.
Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, Joynul’s lawyer Touhidul Islam said that, the authority freed Joynul after checking the bail orders.
The separate cases were filed against Joynul and others with Paltan Police Station in 2015 on charge of vandalism and arson attacks.
The BNP leader surrendered to a Dhaka court on July 2 this year in connection with the cases. The same day, the court sent Farooque to jail after rejecting his bail petition in the cases.
