The Rapid Action Battalion-5 (RAB-5) has ended their operation for recovering arms in Sherpur district for the second consecutive day.On Tuesday RAB-5 personnel recovered a total of 5257 bullets from Kalapani frontier area of Nalitabari upazila in the district.RAB-5 filed a case with Nalitabari Police Station in this connection. Sub Inspector Arif Hossain ensured this to Jagonews24.com.Commander of RAB-5 Lieutenant Colonel Mahbub Alam told Jagonews24.com that, they ended their operation formally.A total of 48200 bullets were recovered after conducting the drive from Monday to Tuesday, he added.Earlier, Media wing director of RAB Mufti Mahmud Khan on Monday said, RAB has conducted the drive in Sherpur as a part of the drive for recovering arms and ammo across the country.
