Law Minister Anisul Huq said that the final decision of section 57 of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ACT would be taken in mid August.He came up with the comment after an inter-ministerial meeting on proposed Digital Security Act (DSA) at Bangladesh Secretariat.The minister said, “The Section 57 should be kept in place until the enactment of the proposed Digital Security Act.”“The draft of Digital Security Act (DSA) will be placed in the final (inter-ministerial) meeting that we will going to hold in mid August and you will also get to see our decision about Section 57 of the ICT ACT at that meeting,” he added.
