Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government has started to modernize the armed forces. The organizational structure of Bangladesh army will be formatted immediately. The Prime Minister said this while addressing a reunion parade marking Regimental Commander’s Conference of East Bengal Regiment of Bangladesh Army and 9th Tigers’ Reunion at Chittagong Cantonment on Saturday.She hoped that the Bangladesh Army will always remain ready for any sacrifice for the country and the nation.Earlier, the Prime Minister inspected the parade and took salute.Army chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq received the prime minister on her arrival at Chittagong Cantonment.Cabinet members, parliament members, the chiefs of Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force and senior civil and military officials were present.
