Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at many places in Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, a met office release said today.
Country`s highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 37 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature 22 degree Celsius at Rangamati, in Chittagong division. The highest rainfall was recorded 90 millimeter at Srimongal in Sylhet division.
A warning message of Dhaka Meteorological Department also said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary west or north-westerly squalls speed 60-80 kilometer per hour (kph) is likely to occur in the the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Dhaka, Faridpur, Kushtia, Jessore, Khulna, Baisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Cox`s Bazar and Sylhet wherein river ports have been advised to hoist signal number two.
The sun sets at 6.48pm today and rises at 5.12am tomorrow in the capital city of Dhaka.
