In response to Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Education Secretary`s assurance, government college teachers suspended their agitations demanding gradation of the posts of professors and reinstatement of selection grade and timescale.Prof. Nasreen Begum President of BCS General Education Association said this at a press conference at his office at Meheraba Plaza in Dhaka on Wednesday.She said, the principal secretary to the prime minister and the education secretary had assured them that the government would accept their demands.Earlier on Tuesday, teachers at all government colleges in the country began a three-day work abstention programme demanding gradation of the posts of professors and reinstatement of selection grade and timescale.
