At least six people were killed and three others injured in separate incidents of landslides after heavy rain in different areas of Bandarban early Tuesday.
The incidents took place in Kalaghata, Lemujhiri Para and Agapara area in the district.
Swapan Kumar Gosh, official of Bandarban Fire Brigade, confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
The deceased are Reba Tripura, Lota Borua, Mitu Borua, Shubho Borua, Kamrun Nahar and Supriya Begum.
The injured men were sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital.
