Govt appoints 27 assistant attorney generals, relieves 23

Government today appointed 27 new assistant attorney generals (AAGs) till further order and relieved 23 of their duties from the same post.

Government made the new appointments as per article 3 (1) of The Bangladesh Law Officers Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 6 of 1972), reports BSS.

The newly appointed assistant attorney generals are - Syeda Sabina Ahmed (Moli), Afifa Begum, Anich Ul Mawa (Arzu), Saira Fairoz, Helena Begum (China), Md Asaduzzaman, Lucky Begum, Md Shafikuzzaman, Mizanur Rahman Khan, Mohammad Akter Hossain, Syed Bashir Hossain Chowdhury, Nusrat Zahan and Abul Kalam Khan (Daud).

Sandhya Ghosh, Md Nasim Islam, Md Mozibur Rahman, Md Ashraf Uddin Khan, Mehedi Hasan, Nirmol Kumar Das, Zahir Ahammed, Sathi Shahajahan, Zakir Hossain, Airin Zahan, Prohlad Debnath, Abul Hossain Md Ziauddin, Ashik Rubaiat and Nazimul Islam Raju.

AAGs, who lost their jobs are - Sadhan Kumar Banik, Delwara Begum Bela, Eyadia Zaman, Ms Anwara Khanam, Bilkis Fatema, Md Motiur Rahman Hawlader, Md Abdul Bari, Md Nurul Haque, Md Monwar Hossain, Abdur Rahman Hawlader, Bahauddin Ahammed, Touhida Khatun (Rina) and Abu Saleh Mohammad Fazle Rabbi Khan.

Md Zaber, Md Mozammel Haque Rana, Khandaker Modarres Elahi (Tiru), Miah Sirajul Islam, SM Asadullah Tarek, Alhaj Md Shahidul Islam Khan, ABM Mahbub, Md Mamnur Rashid, Md Soyeb Khan and Nawajish Ara Begum.
