Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Wednesday morning after wrapping up her two-day official visit to Austria to attend a conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), reports BSS.
A special Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the prime minister and her members of the entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here at 7.20 am.
During the visit to Austria, the prime minister addressed the opening session of the conference titled "Conference on the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme: 60 years and Beyond- Contributing to Development" on Tuesday.
She also held official talks with Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and met Austrian Federal President Alexander Van Der Bellen.
Sheikh Hasina had a meeting with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano at his office.
Bangladesh and Austria signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) after the official talks.
On Monday, the prime minister joined a community event followed by an iftar party at Grand Hotel in the Austrian capital.
