Vice-chairman of Islami Bank Syed Ahsanul Alom has been removed from his post.
The board of directors of Islami Bank on Tuesday took the decision at the bank’s 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Kurmitola Golf Club.
He, however, will continue as an independent director.
