Mild heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions, and the regions of Chandpur, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue, said a Met office press release on Monday morning.
"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Rain or thunder shower accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," it said.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
