Striking public university teachers will sit on Tuesday to decide whether they will return to taking classes after yesterday’s meeting with the prime minister.The teachers under banner of Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers’ Association (FBUTA) will sit for the meeting at 5:00pm in Dhaka University’s social science building.FBUTA President Farid Uddin Ahmed told that the premier told us to withdraw our strike. But it’s not my decision alone. We will decide about it at today’s meeting.The teachers of all 37 public universities tuned in to FBUTA’s demands and went on indefinite strike from last week. The agitation crippled academic activities at the universities.
