Jago News beat BD Pratidin 1-0 to reach quarterfinal

Jagonews24.com, a leading news portal of the country, beat Bangladesh Pratidin 1-0 in their last group stage match in the BSJC media football tournament at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium on Wednesday.

Arifur Rahman Babu scored a magnificent goal to help Jago News to win over Bangladesh Pratidin.

Jago News played all out football after starting the match. Moniruzzam Uzzal, Shafiqul Islam, Abu Rasel played a vital role and led their team to victory.

Earlier on Sunday, Jago news won against Maasranga TV 3-0 in their first match of the tournament.

A total of 24 media house, split into eight groups, are taking part in the round robin league. The champion team will receive Taka 30,000 while the runners-up will get Taka 20,000 as prize money.
