State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Monday said world standard education to the new generations will be provided using multimedia classrooms.He said this while addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of digitization programme of Udayan Higher Secondary School and College at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban auditorium of the university.He said, the government wants to set up multimedia classrooms at all schools to ensure world standard education. The government has already taken initiatives to set up computer and language laboratories at 2,000 secondary schools.Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor and also chairman of the Udayan School and College governing body Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique formally inaugurated the digitization programme with the college principal Dr Umme Salema Begum in the chair.
