Police recovered the bodies of five people who went missing after a boat capsized in the Padma River in Rajshahi during a storm on Monday.
Nurul Islam, Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense of Rajshahi, on Tuesday confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
The deceased were identified as Rabin, 21, Asadul, 36, Rafiqul Islam, 35, Tamim, 10 and Abul Ahad, 10.
It is mentionable that, a boat with six passengers had been on its way to Barakuthi Ghat from Majher char of Padma and, after it capsized at 7.45pm, 1 of them managed to swim ashore on Monday.
