Four people remained missing as a boat capsized in the River Padma near Dargapara area of the Rajshahi city on Sunday evening during a storm.
Three of the missing people were identified as Sarwer Hossain Rafiq, 45, Robin, 28, Asadul, 45.
Confirming the matter to the Jagonews24.com, Shahadat Hussain Khan, officer-in-charge of Boalia Model Police Station, said that a boat with six passengers had been on its way to Barakuthi Ghat from Majher char of Padma and, after it capsized at 7.45pm, 2 of them managed to swim ashore.
In this connection, Nurul Islam, Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said that, a diver team will continue their operation until the missing people are rescued.
