RAB arrests three neo-JMB militants from Savar

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) overnight arrested three activists of new faction of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (neo-JMB) from Dhaka’s suburban Savar area.According to RAB, one of the arrestees is close accomplice of JMB’s Tamim Ahmed Chowdhury of “Tamim-Sarwar” faction.The arrestees are Tamim Dwari alias Abdullah Al Hasan alias Azizur Rahman alias Abdullah Al Zafari alias Amir Hamja alias Al Huzaifa, 32, Kamrul Hasan alias Kajal alias Nurruddin, 26 and Md Mostafa Majumdar alias Shihab alias Hamja.RAB also seized a foreign pistol, ammunitions, two magazines, three folding knives, one machete, laptops and different foreign exchanges.“Member of RAB-4 conducted a secret drive at Rajfulbaria bus stand area and arrested the three activists of neo JMB around 9pm on Thursday,” RAB Legal and Media Wing chief spokesperson Commander Mufti Mahmud Khan told a press briefing this afternoon.Source: BSS
