Two top leaders of the banned militant outfits Jama`atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were killed in a gunfight with police at Hazaribagh area in the old part of the capital city on Wednesday midnight. Detective Branch (DB) of police also arrested three members from the city`s Kamrangirchar area on the same day. The shootout took place near Shikder Medical College Hospital around 11.35pm on Wednesday, Sub Inspector Didar Uddin of Kamrangirchar Police Station said.JMB leaders Habibullah Al Noman, 32, and Kamal Ibne Hiron, 24, were killed in the gunfight, he also said.Three cases one for murder, one each under explosive substances act and arms act were lodged to this end.
