Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) on Wednesday served legal notices to the 28 tanneries to relocate their factories within next 72 hours of receiving legal notice.If tanneries owners failed to relocate their factories within 72 hours of receiving legal notice, electricity and gas connection will be disconnected and their factories will be shut down, the notice said.Earlier, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, at a meeting with the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), gave a 72-hour ultimatum to relocate the factories from Hazaribagh in Dhaka to the designated industrial park in Savar.
